Lots of old advertisements still on the sides of buildings in San Francisco... the Bull Durham sign (with hot and cold water rooms on the left) was revealed again after many years by demolition of the building next door, and was about to be hidden by construction!
Presumably, as well as hot water, the rooms feature spittoons, too.
