My family owned this business and we lived in the c 1806 home on the site in the mid 1960's. I remember this sign very well. It was on the side of one of the 2 story outbuildings from which we sold furniture. This was a wonderful, almost magical time for me. My dad couldn't make a go of the business, so we sold it and moved back to Connecticut in about a year.
